Day 2

On the second day, we basically havent started anything yet on the car as we are still figuring out where we should literally strip down the car. earlier we couldnt get the BF workshop, which is the mechanical engineering workshop. we need to utilise the rotary lift available there.

Having the thought that we couldnt use BF, we suggested doing it in ILSAS or even just by the road.. like that might have happened (the reputation of the university counts on this)

That evening we had a test drive on the car. We had the car drained its fuel and made sure it could not even start. So we want to know literally on road whats the FC of the Myvi. How may kilometers it would go for a liter of petrol.

Theoretically on paper by Perodua, it could go up to17km/liter to 18km/liter. But by reading on some reviews by forumers, it has been said that the FC for Myvi with the same spec would be just 11km/liter to 12 km/liter. Se we want to test it.

we couldnt find an exact 1 liter bottle so we filled up a bottle of 1.5 liter of petrol Petronas PRIMAX RON97 and fill the tank up after we made sure it could not be started.

The weight of the driver was exactly 50kg while he was driving at average 55km/h doing 2000rpm.

the fuel Consumption for 1.5 liter of fuel was:

So, its 15.2km/liter
basically its more that the forumers say and its less that what perodua claim. Thats it for second day. we wrap it up by the test and everyone was satisfied.
